Seeing how I am new here, can someone inform me of what constitutes a "box" of dimes?

As a follow up, out of about $120 in CR dimes, I only found one 1958 silver.

Hope my odds improve but I was happy to find the one.

hey all no searching for me here for a few more weeks
my lady walked out on me and I am keeping money in the bank instead of at my house where she might be able to get her hands on it.
I doubt she would do that to me, but after 3 years I would've never thought she would pack her stuff and walk out on me

sad times for me, but I can't wait to take my mind off it with a little dime searching
nice finds for all of you still
good luck all

Sorry googoo, I use roll searching as a sort of "therapy" to clear my mind. My ADHD is pretty severe and minds always racing but when I sit down with coins to sort through it makes me focus on them and slows me down. Hopefully searching for you has the same positive outcome.

Kinda rips your heart out doesn't it. Don't neglect yourself, make sure you take time to eat & try to get enough sleep. it eventually gets easier.

3 boxes and 250 in rolls netted me 36 and 45 mercs as well as a 46-D, 50-D, 58-D,59-D and a 64. Not the greatest haul but I'm satisfied
Rest in Peace

It seems that new dime errors and varieties are always being discovered every week and some are being sold for some big $s.

I have never found just one book to contain everything so I am always checking ebay etc for recent sales.

I recently bought Cherry-pickers most recent edition that included dimes and other coins but still wanted to get a consensus of opinions insofar as what you think are the most sought after (in terms of highest $ value) dimes post 2000 through the present.

Compiling a list of the top 10 or 20 dimes )from 2000 - 2012 with the most recent sales price would seem to be a reasonable place to start.go b

If at least 10 dates, for example, cannot be referenced starting with the year 2000 please go back earlier than 2000 until at least 10 - 15 valuable varieties/errors are referenced.

Any thoughts on these would be appreciated.

I've been on a 10 box skunk streak of halves. So I like getting boxes of dimes to break up the monotony of getting skunked on halves.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found 4x silver dimes.

1952 - Worn pretty thin
1963 - Great condition
1964 - x2 Great condition

The 63 and one of the 64's were in the same roll!

Wow you guys. Last year I plowed through over $20,000 in dimes. So far in '012 not one roll searched. I think there's something wrong with me.

Grabbed a few rolls of CWR from the bank yesterday. No silver, but there were a few Canadians: 1968, 1977, 1983, 1988, 1990x2, 1993, 1999, British 5 Pence.
