Searched my first Brinks box yesterday and came up with nothing, I will try a different bank today and see if I can get any CWR's.

I found 4 in 1 box today: 1953d, 1960d, 1964d and 1964 Canadian. That ties my most in one box if I don't take points away for the 80% vs 90% on the Canadian(and I don't).

The boxes I get have the holes in the bottom(or top?) to verify that the correct number of rolls are in the box. If I notice that they are all new I ask if they they have another box.

I get the same ones... I guess I just don't have the guts to do that. I feel like it would be rude. The teller has to go get a second person, and then they go to the vault and come back and do something on the computer to buy it from the vault. I'd feel horrible if I was like "Oh, can I get a different box". Don't you think they'd be annoyed?

$50 in dimes resulted in a 1948-D. 4/48. So now my average is 1 per $90. Isn't that pretty good? I hope my luck doesn't run out soon.

Googoo, I wish you good luck with finding a solution to getting boxes. If you can find a way to maybe go to the bank every once in a while maybe you can make up for it by getting a massive amount of dimes?

I guess I have only done it a few times. The first time the banker that the teller had to have get the box asked me if I looked at every one of them(this was a box of cents), and I told him that I do; So when I noticed they were all new it wasn't too big of a deal. I just apologize and ask if it isn't too much trouble if they had another.

The most recent time I did it was today with dimes. I got 1 box of dimes, 1 nickels and 1 cents; oddly enough the teller pulled all three boxes from right at her station. When I asked to exchange the 2011 dimes she still had another box of dimes right there and didn't seem to mind. The replacement box was the one with 4 silver.

Neither branch was at all busy on either of those occasions though. If it seemed to be a bother to get the first box I might not ask to switch.

Well the branches I go to, which is like 6 different ones, they usually are never too slow. And only rarely do they have the coins right there for me. Usually they have to go to the vault. So first of all it takes them time to go back, and second, there is a big line behind me. So I've just gotten used to thanking them and just dumping them. Kind of sucks but I don't want to annoy any of the tellers who help me so often.
