50 bucks in Dimes yielded one 1961. Not to bad.

i wasn't actually searching, I was cleaning out a new safe I just purchased. I knew the rolls were old, but I only opened one for now, think i'll save the rest for a while.
maybe open 1 a week for a couple months, just to make it interesting. the silver proof IKE is nice too!

Yeah I'm curious too. how did you buy a safe with coins in it? lol. But that is awesome. And I wouldn't be able to hold back, i'd have to open all the rolls right now.

I'm having a very lucky day today, first the dimes and ike, then the bank had a customer drop off 28 pristine washington bicentennials, and my weekly half dollar boxes are showing silver enders, I probably should have hit up more banks while I was out, but excited to get to the halves after a month of junky boxes.

by the way, the safe was delivered to me free of charge, they just wanted to get rid of it because it's huge. the rolls were stuck behind the drawer.

Catch that show "Storage Wars", those guys buy safes all the time and are always coming across piles of silver coin left behind.

Just finished 7 rolls of dimes, only scored two new coins for the album and nothing else.

That makes close to 50 rolls with no 2009 of any mark. Maybe more luck tomorrow... or with the pennies tonight. =)
