Quote: by the way, the safe was delivered to me free of charge, they just wanted to get rid of it because it's huge. the rolls were stuck behind the drawer. Excellent! Quote: yea I went to one a month ago, but people around here have deep pockets, well deeper than mine haha I have not been to an auction in a very long time. I walked away empty handed for that reason.

Quote: i wasn't actually searching, I was cleaning out a new safe I just purchased. I knew the rolls were old, but I only opened one for now, think i'll save the rest for a while. maybe open 1 a week for a couple months, just to make it interesting. the silver proof IKE is nice too! the halves were still a disappointment so I couldn't help myself. here's the final tally... 1923 x1 1927 x2 1928 x1 1929 x1 1935s x1 1936 x8 1937 x3 1937d x1 1937s x1 1939d x1 1939s x2 1940 x8 1940d x3 1940s x5 1941 x24 1941d x8 1941s x9 1942 x38 1942d x9 1942s x16 1943 x24 1943d x15 1943s x19 1944 x38 1944d x22 1944s x25 1945 x29 1945d x6 1945s x23
1952 x1 1956d x1 1957d x1 1962d x1 1963d x1 1964d x2 $773.99 melt almost forgot $9.67 for the Ike

WHOA with all those 1945S and 1942 you might have something else too.
I managed to pull 4 silvers out of two boxes.

2 boxes of dimes and 1 box of quarters searched today. Box of quarters......skunk. box 1 of dimes... skunked....box 2 of dimes...2 silver. 1x1965. 1x1935. That 1935 without the bluenose picture is my first of its kind and now my oldest roll searching find. Cheers all.

But in 1968 Canada did Silver for half the year and Nickel for the other. Even then, the silver was only 50%.
