I live in a pretty large city (augusta, ga) and I do believe I am the only coin searcher for rolls anyways, in my city. I am part of my local coin club and everything and I do believe I am the lucky only one :)

Yea, I was picking up at my bank as a guy was going back & forth from his Benz in the lot, carrying bags. He must have run several thousand dollars worth of coin while I was there!

I don't really know what I can do though...I figure it happens anyway. Almost all banks here get their coins from either the Fed or Brinks.

I just move it around and hope they pull something old out once in a while.

The best part...the teller had a 1954 quarter in her tray. I've gone through hundreds of dollars in quarters and haven't found a single one...but I've gotten 3 from tellers so far!
Get them where you can!

well after a few weeks off from searching, I ordered a box from my credit union due to the lack of CWR's they receive...

grand total... 4!

1964-d
1962-d
1956
1945-d =D

2x canadians
1x british 5 pence

i couldn't believe it. I usually do terrible with clear plastic wrapped boxes... 2 of the silver were starring me in the face on the top row. and the last row had the last 2!! I love those kind!

No one is putting silver dimes into circulation, they've been there all along!

I did two boxes of dimes today, found two silvers. 1x1967 fish dime and 1x1954. This officially brings my total dime finds to a full roll of silver dimes! Yayyyyy! In about 4 months of searching I have found 51 silver dimes. :-)

And still no 2009 dines of any mint mark. Hmmm....

It certainly is nice seeing the positive posts about 1964 finds. You would not see that in the Nickel thread.
