I just finished another 7 rolls, no finds except finally a 2009 for my Dansco album.

All of my rolls are from BofA. I am at about 1 silver coin out of 80-100 rolls.

@MadMortician, I see you live in a highly populated area of a highly populated state going to a highly popular bank, that's the problem.

@MercuryDime: Oh I know that is why my numbers are so low. I just haven't done the research yet to see what would be better banks/areas to go to.

I also don't do more than 7-10 rolls at a time, and don't want to spend $50 in gas to drive out to a bank in the middle of no where to exchange them.

I will probably end up opening a savings account at a credit union or other small local bank and give that a shot some time in the next few weeks.

Just got done with my latest 60 rolls. They had been sitting around for about a week and it was killing me that I hadn't been able to open them. But they were well worth the wait.

Silver: (4)

1954-D
1957-D
1959-D
1962-D

Canadian: (3)

1978
2010 (x2)

And when I took the coins back to the bank to dump, I found an additional 56 cents in the coin counting machine, so in essence I ended up only paying 14 cents for 4 silver dimes....I'll take that any day of the week!

The crazy thing is, is that I found 3 of the silver dimes in the second roll I looked through, so I was thinking that it was going to be an epic night, but it just turned out to be a good night instead.....oh well.

My first post here, been lurking and doing some CRH for a while now.

Just went to the bank on a whim on my way home, picked up $150 in dimes, got one 1964.

The best part...the teller had a 1954 quarter in her tray. I've gone through hundreds of dollars in quarters and haven't found a single one...but I've gotten 3 from tellers so far!

I grabbed a box last week and killed it tonight between periods of the rangers vs caps game....booo rangers
anyways I pulled my average still. 3 silvers!
1964
1957
1949 S

Very excited about the 1949 S
I have one in BU I bought at a coin show for melt, but this is the first one I have found roll searching. 5 more to go to have found them all from bank rolls.
I dont have the time or the drive to get back to 2 boxes of dimes and then a box each of everything else yet, but I'm getting there, glad to still see some familiar faces keeping the thread alive.
You all gotta be killing me in silver found now
Be good, hopefully I'll be around again soon.
PEACE

I was also reading back on the thread a bit and noticed people once again talking about brinks rolls and clear wrapped rolls, this box I just did with 3 silver.....Clear Rolls
I have had luck with clear quarter rolls, dime rolls and nickel rolls with silver
They also contain canadian silver and non silver coins. I am near the border so the canadian post 68 just agitate me
but yeah, clear wrapped rolls have success by me.
I also crack open all the rolls and search the faces of the coins. I have found many dirty silver coins that way. Mercs, washingtons and roosies
Check them coins peeps!

Searcher 1: Hey, I found a neat way to make extra money for my coin collection. Get $500 in dimes, pull out all the silver, and return the rest for different ones to look thru.

Searchers 2-100: That's a neat idea, I'm gonna do that.

Searcher 1: I can't understand it. I used to find 3-5 silver dimes per box, now I'm lucky if I find one every three boxes.

How many ppl does it take to ultimately check all the dimes in an area of population around 100,000? One.

How many ppl does it take to ultimately check all the dimes in an area of population around 1,000,000? Two.
