I haven't been roll hunting for a while, but used a Coinstar yesterday. There was a 1953 dime in the reject tray!

My friends make fun of me for always checking the reject trays whenever I see a machine, but I've made a few bucks from those. Usually canadian coins or damaged US coins, and the ocasional chuck-e-cheese token. No silver from those yet.

box #10,

1952 D

I hadn't seen silver in a Coinstar in months. I just happened to have a few bucks in change, and checked the tray beforehand.

The first time I ever used a Coinstar I checked the reject box and found a good condition Mercury dime in it. That was quite a pleasant surprise!

1 box and approximately $150 off a CU machine = zero, 0, $0.00, none, nothing. Nothing worth more than 10 cents, nothing kinda sorta interesting....nothing. So I'm about $1400 now with no silver and the bank that has historically been better for dimes is charging me to buy coin now. Hits just keep coming. Guess I'll give dimes another break. I just want to find one Mercury dime in the wild!

I want to get some more dimes this week to see where it goes. I'm at $750 with nothing right now. Seems like nickel searching, dime searching, and half searching is all getting kinda slim right now.

Yup, I see the same thing Murrell, I haven't found anything in $9,500 of a mix of halves and dimes.

Bought a roll of silver dimes from a till at my work. Total of 52 dimes with the highest being 28 '64 D and the oldest a 1951. Pretty cool when I saw them I knew I just had to have 'em.
