Funny story. My boss has recently started CRH. This past Friday he purchased $450 mixed of quarter dimes and nickels and got nothing. Went to the store later that night to pick some stuff up, and got a 1964 Washington in his change.  He gets more silver from stores then he does searching thousands of random coins! |

Stopped by my favorite CRH bank today and was torn on whether to pick up $140 in quarters or dimes. I'm glad I chose dimes!      Yes, that is 7 mercs and 2 silver roosies! You can't read the dates (except for the one I already 2x2'd) because I was using my miserable little iPod camera, so here's a list: 1918 1935S x2 1942 1942S 1944 1944D 1948D 1954 Not pictured is a 2007 East Carribean States 10 cents, whose rim I at first mistook for another silver. Definitely going back to the bank tommorow to get the rest of them! |

Thanks guys.
I went back there a couple hours ago, but the teller from yesterday wasn't there. Got $100 of dimes anyway, but was skunked.
My efforts were still rewarded however as the nice teller lady offered me 3 silver halves (she knows I collect). Got a 1962D, (my first Franklin!) 1968D, and 1969D.

I went and talked to one of my favorite tellers, she gave me the hook up this week!
The machines can't accept Ikes and someone dumped them in there. I said that it would damage the machine if it kept spinning around. We opened it up and I got 3 Ikes! They had already lost some of the edges from spinning around- glad I caught it.
Then she offered me an entire box of dimes. I got 3 boxes from another bank- all skunk. I took her box home, got 2 Roosies and 2 Mercs. I can't believe it- that's the best box I've had in a few months!
Definitely bringing chocolates for the tellers!

my best box in a very long time 9 total!! 1944,1945 merc 1946 (2), 1947,1948,1951,1952, and of course theres always a 1964 haha something to be happy about since my half dollar boxes were a mess |
