Searched $600 in cwr Friday and 2 more rosies...I have to get back to those String boxes, much better finds and better merc and Canadian silver averages...cwr's are just easier for me to dump as I'm re-rolling which takes only a few seconds each roll, and I get cash back immediately for the exact amount I dump.

My average for 2013:
$6,300 total dimes searched.

$2,000 in BOXED dimes: 9 rosies, 3 mercs, 2 silver Canadians, or 1 silver per $142 searched.

$4,300 in CWR dimes: 15 rosies and 1 silver Canadian, or 1 silver per $268 searched.

I got my first $250 and found 29 American dimes! I also kept 38 2001 Volunteers just because they look different. Nothing else interesting unfortunately >:(

Last box I searched I found two rosies - 63D & 64D. Today I went to the same branch for another box. Ten rolls in, I found this 1918 Mercury:

Always nice to find silver in the wild, but this was unexpected. I can't wait to what else is hidden in this box!

Did $30 and while I didn't find any silver, I found a 1969 which may or may not be a missing clad layer error. I was gonna post some pictures but I can't get the lighting right. I'll post some as well as the weight once I get them.

Also Samsnate, for those of us who don't know Canadian coins that well, what's so special about the 2003 W P, and what does W P mean?

The W P are the mint marks. There were over 252 million dimes minted for this year. 2003WP was only for the PL sets with only 56k with this mark. So the chances of finding this out in circulation in MS64 condition to say the least is just amazing.

Until this week, I was on a $2365 skunk streak.

This week I got 4 boxes.
2 boxes - Skunked
1 box - 1 FDR and 1965 Canadian silver!! (bad shape but I'll take it!)
1 box - 5 FDR

Not great, but not bad either.
