Congrats on the seated liberty. That's amazing! Hope you get more great finds Afterimage! Went back to dimes and got a 1964 and a 1964-D. Haven't got any silver in a while (not even War Nickels) so I was pretty excited

Quote: Just got my first box of dimes. Not a thing of interest at all. Oh well. Keep at it! In the last week and a half I've gone through three $250 boxes of dimes and found about 8 silver ones. I found these today: 1962D and a 1957D. As you can see, I also pulled a couple of 2009 cents, a very nice 1972 with lots of luster, and a 1990D Proof nickel.

I don't normally do dimes I usually do nickels and halves but yesterday I did two boxes of dimes and found a 42 merc..... However I went to dump them today and they clogged the self serve coin counter at the bank due to the dimes being all small and light.... ended up losing 40 dollars in the machine.... So goody for me I have to wait like 2 months for them to balance all the info with the fed and the books of the bank branch and then I'll get my money after that..... Long story short I am done with dimes lol if I decide to go off the beaten path again it will be to quarters lol

Quote: Just so you know, that nickel's not proof. Yep....should have typed that it was out of a mint set. You know times are tough when people are spending coins out of their mint sets. Either that or they're just plain stupid. As far as silver goes, I didn't find a thing today. Nada, zilch, zippo. I did however find a Philadelphia mint token that has been circulating as a penny.

Nice find! I went through $10 of cents the other day, and I found an entire roll of uncirculated cents from the 70s, a 1963 Unc., a 1940 Canadian cent in EF, two Wheats, etc. Not a bad find.

I got $500 in dimes and found these beauties. The Merc is the oldest dime I have ever found!
