went through about 10 rolls and found a 63D so far many more to go but no time now off to bed work is killing me

OK so call me a liar it is now 3:30 in the morning and I am still going through box 1 so I am very pleased to have so far pulled 5!! 2 hole fillers 1946 1946 D (hole filler) 1948 (hole filler) 1953D 1963D 19 of 48 moving right along box #2 and about 10 more rolls from the first remain for tomorrow

1960D in the few rolls the boss replenished the same with at work very close to having a full roll of silver dimes!

hmm...i don't understand how you guys are finding all this stuff...I've been through a whole box now and found nothing pre 65.
found 3 or 4 misprints where the face looks like it's been imprinted too far to one side.

just finished my first ever silvers search...other box was more kind. very exciting. i got four pre 64s!

YES 2nd ever mercury found in a roll at work someone paid for food with! 1936 if I can get my girlfriend to take pics for me I will put it up funny how both of my mercs have come at work in my cash registers!

I seriously think people mistake mercs for foreign coin, perhaps a Canadian dime, that's how they end up in circ.

I don't think people even look at them - they just count them off by size and color.

I think they pass them off as canadian here I am in buffalo and there were 4 other canadians in the roll no silver ones tho, all 2000's

On average, I get 25-30 Canadians per $500 dimes searched, (here in Mich). My CU counter rejects 'em, so I roll them seperately and pass 'em off one way or another.

argh...3 boxes in a row and turned up absolutely no silvers. maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Ob, you're not doing anything wrong. They key to finding lots of silver dimes is volume....searching lots of customer-rolled and boxes. Keep in mind that the average is right around 1-2 per box with occasional skunks in between.
