I hit well over $125,000 in dimes the last couple years. My average remained a solid 1 silver per $150 searched. Half were machine-rolled, half customer-rolled.

Picked up a banks box of dimes that they wrap them selves when taken from their coin counter. Only find was a 1944 P Mercury dime. Still better than a skunk.

Dirt- looks like I am about on track. I have gone through $100-150 I guess and found one. It just happened to be in the first one I opened.

Dave- I would love to find a Merc. Love those little jewels.

uncle bob: I didn't post it but three weeks ago I found another bank that would sell me sealed bags taken from their coin counter. They pull dimes at $500. The first bag I got from them had 47 silver dimes in it and 41 were Mercury's. I took a picture but haven't been able to post the picture even after reading the instructions here. Most were from the 40's but I'm sure they mostly came from one person's stash. I got one bag since there and it only had 2 silvers, both Roosevelt's

I believe searching bags from coin counters will yield some of the best results. Sure you might run the risk of getting hit with a CHR'ers dump, but often times not.

I have found better numbers with boxes. Never been skunked on a bag. Found 1 dime in a bag once.

Customer-wrapped all the way! No solids in over $60K+, but best roll 27 silvers, then 14, then 12, then....
