I searched through my first box of dimes in years and I found two silver Roosevelts, a 1952-D and a 1964.

Went through a box from my local bank that wraps their own coins. Found nothing till the last roll when I found a 1964 d. Hopefully will pick up another box on Monday or Tuesday.

Your box probably came from Loomis or Garda, the courier that rolls the coin. I know that Brinks normally uses a different wrapper/box. Either way, congrats, and the S & & wrapped have always been good to me.

Thanks for the info. I think I was told that before but must have forgotten. Like the wife always says I'm getting to old to remember things.

Here in Nj you usually get 1 or 2 silver Rosie,'s per box. Having said that, I got skunked on my last box. I did find quite a few 65's, 66's, and 67's. I actually hang onto rolls of 65 to 69's and 2009's. Good luck on your next hunt.

I'm posting in this forum since this was my highlight of the day. I picked up six boxes- two penny, one nickel, and three dime. The two penny boxes were a bit disappointing on count with just 11 Wheats, but there was a 1917 and a 1929 that is in high VF/low EF condition. The nickels produced a dateless Buffalo, a 1938-D (too bad it wasn't an S since that's what I need to complete the set), and a 1943-D War Nickel (the lowest minted War Nickel for a change). There were also 17 other "common" early Jefferson nickels from 1939 to 1958. There was also a 2002 50 Fils coin from the United Arab Emirates, just my second ever coin that I found from that country (I found a 2007 Dirham a few weeks ago from a counting machine find). But the big story was my mini-silver cache for the dimes today. It may not sound like a lot, but in the 14 years I've been CRH'ing, 13 dimes in one day is my best, beating my previous record of seven on a couple other occasions. The first box, a Brinks, yielded a 1962. The Loomis was all 2015-P, so I "angrily" rubbed the coins to eliminate their uncirculated status. But the String & Sons box was the gem. This box produced 12 of the 13, and four of the rolls had multiples (one was an ender), with one of them containing three silvers in one roll! The dates were all from the '60s, but it was still cool to find just about a whole ounce of silver including a couple better dates for the Nickels.

I stopped ordering dime boxes from my local key bank cause the 4 I ordered were all 2015 so I told the teller to keep them (she's cool with me she knows I'm a coin collector), so it'll be a while til I order dimes again. Doing nickels for now.
