I looked through $1050.00 in dimes last week in $800.00 of CWR I found 2 Roosevelt's. in a $250.00 box I found 2 more Roosevelt's for a total of 4. I keep hoping I will find someone's dime dump, my best roll so far has been 19 silver dimes. I go to 2 banks that do a lot of commercial business so I'm able to get plenty of CWR.

Not a big time dime searcher but do every once in a while. Mainly doing nickels right now and had a dump find at the end of April. Went back to CU inquiring about any more nickels or any other customer rolls. They had $52 cents picked up not searched yet, $20 more nickels picked up, $500 dimes (got $300) and $900 quarters (going back and fourth on picking up. Think I am going to get the rest of dimes, still thinking on the quarters. Finds from the 60 customer rolls, 5 silvers.

I'm new to this site and wanted to start posting some of my finds. I stopped my bank yesterday not my usual branch and asked if they had any dime rolls they could spare. The teller was happy to rid of them. I took $250 in customer wrapped rolls. After reading several post on how others search dimes, edge rolling etc, after a quick edge scan I decided to take the extra time to look at each coin. Glad I did because in my 3rd roll I found a 1979-S proof. Few rolls later 2 silver roosies. 1958 and 1961. This is the first time doing dimes and I'm excited on the results so far. Gonna finish the rest of the rolls later tonight.

Arrggg...people that complain about bags from the bank are the reason I can no longer get bags from the bank.
People don't complain if it's full of silver, but they'll complain if the count's off!
If you want verified amounts of coin, get them in boxes from the supplier. If you want higher risk and higher reward, get CWRs or bags off the machine. You may find more, but it may not be accurate.
If you get burned, stop getting the bags.
Every bank I've tried will no longer sell bags because someone raised a big fit about the bag being off. I've even told them I take full responsibility for the amount in the bag and will not bring it back and complain, and they still will not. Now no one has access to those bags.
I've seen all sorts of things end up in bags that were counted as coins, the machine isn't perfect. People are dumb and don't treat the machines well, and problems happen.
