Well, not exactly a CRH find... but a garage sale steal. The silver alone in those dimes was worth about $40... and you paid $20... and got 3 low mintage dates out of it. Congrats!
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
Today stopped at one of my favorite banks to see if she had anymore Loomis rolls which have given me over a handful of buffalo's in the past 2 weeks. (Other part of story in the nickel thread) Anyhow, I walked in and she said "I have something for you!" Thinking oh what could this be?!?!? and she pulled out a 1946 rosey. "I said you found it, are you sure you don't want it for yourself?" and she said "No, I know its silver but I don't collect coins, you will get more enjoyment out of it than me, I just like hearing about what you find". She said I would just roll it up and send it on it way. I thanked her very much and I paid face for it. Beats going through hundreds of dollars of dimes to find one. I think I will have to buy the tellers a big bag of halloween candy since its just around the corner!
