I threw the roll out and it was right there almost on top. Hoping to find more silver too... I hadn't found two silver dimes in a week in quite a while... I'm in the middle of 16 CWR right now. Oh yes, it was VERY nice, Numisma. It's funny, with the '59 Philly, it may have come as a result of me asking the teller to give me the last 3 CWR she had instead of 3 MWR she was going to give me.

One of my favorite tellers had 4 CWR of dimes. I took them all, & look at what just happened to pop out of the first roll. My first EVER Mercury dime find!    CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

Nice job John77 on finding that mercury! They don't surface very often. My 1st and only mercury was also 1943. I went through $300 of CWR in the last 2 days and found 6 silvers. 2 of which were hole fillers. I usually always find 1 in $100 of CWR but this time it was 1 every $50 which was a nice surprise.  |

Nice John77! As for mercs, my find rate was about one per $800 searched, more often in MWR's.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

I just did my first box of dimes in a while. One 1964-d, one 1956-d (hole filler) and a clad dime that has no reeding on the edge. I can't tell if it was worn off or made that way.

FYI, I do better locally (I'm on the West coast) with CWR of dimes over MWR.

They don't look worn like in a half, the edges are still 90 degrees, not rounded.
