I love coming into work, popping my drawer open, and hearing that familiar clang of silver. Two minutes of going through the drawer and sure enough, a slightly beat up 1949 D dime. Signs of the start of a good shift in my opinion.
Very nice!

I stopped at the bank yesterday for a box of dimes. When the clerk came out I saw lots of shiny ends. My guess is all 2017s which seems to be confirmed by my spot checking through the holes.

I know many are looking for that silver, 82s, 83s, or other oddity. But isn't a new box an opportunity to look through what has never been looked through before? I know when I'm going through re-wrapped coins I often think, "how many others looked at this and passed it up".

What are some other thoughts on new untouched boxes?

$80 in MWR today...nothing...I have terrible luck with dimes. I have thus far searched over $500 and found 0 silvers. I have much better luck with the darn coinstar(found 5 over the last year or so)...and even in change for goodness sakes.(found 1 in change at a gas station over the last year) But one day...one day I'll open that first dime roll with a silver.
