Dime Roll Searching

just did 1 box of string and sons, yielded 3 silvers.

1 1961
1 candian 1963

I went through a box today and found two a 43p merc and a 63d roosie

Two boxes, skunked! Someone picked all the silver and Wheat penny in my area.

i prefer the paper wrapped, string n sons. but, I did find out something interesting for those who are leary about customer wrapped. the tellers at the bank I go to do not search the rolls. they do not go through them until they hit the $1000 mark to send the bag out to the facility. so, this helps in the confidence of getting all the nice finds. now, there may be sometimes where those pesky tellers see an old one and BAM silver, but they do not search everyroll that comes in. bank protocol says they do not "count" or " whats the word, I cant think of it, but they dont do it to any rolled coin that comes in. SO. if you ask for CWR, 9 times out of 10, you are going to get some silver.. just have to buy enough rolls and it all depends on the customer that brings it in..

banks will put the coins into boxes when they get enough
so even though you are searching a box, you a searching many customer wrapped rolls
When I go into my pick up bank my guy folds up boxes and makes them in front of my very eyes
I don't like machine wrapped boxes
I usually don't do very well

I love it when he tells me one sec lemme put together a few boxes for you
and then empties these metal boxes of coin into the cardboard ones
he told me that is all coin he got through out the week
