WOW nobis. very nice find. I've gotten 4 silvers before in a paper wrapped box (not CWR), but 5 is almost unheard of.

probably won't find any more. I got one once where there were 2 silvers in the first 10 rolls and I though, 'this is going to be a good one' and it turns out I might as well have not searched the rest.

Tried $100 in dimes today and obtained a 1950 and 1964, both in Wells Fargo clear wrapped rolls which I don't particularly care for. I am thinking of switching over from Half dollars and pennies and just strictly search dimes.

wow--i might get back on the dime train more seriously...i have never gotten more than 2 out of 250 in clear wrap.
100 dollars in clear wrap...might as well just forget it.

mine are definitely either customer or brinks
I talk to the teller
the clear ones he gets are from brinks
other then that he makes me boxes out of what he has
no wells fargo trucks deliver to my bank

Looking for advice. I get bank boxes of dimes to search for silver while I watch TV. I opened a box last night, opened the first roll, and found that it was a roll of brand new uncirculated 2010 P dimes. Then I realized the entire box is the same -- new uncirculated 2010 P dimes. I'm really only interested in saving silver coins, but I'm not averse to making a bit of profit on other coins if I can. So should I hang onto this box? I'm kind of new to coin collecting and not sure how difficult it is for people to get their hands on uncirculated coins in the year of issue, nor how many people would want to. Just thought I'd ask before I cash them back in at the bank. Thanks in advance.

Hiya Posey! You could try and sell them on ebay. The 2010 dimes seem to more common than the 2009's though. |

Thanks, Lincolncentguy. I didn't think to check ebay. I see some of the 2009 rolls are selling for a bit of a premium. Maybe I'll hang onto the box for a year or two and see... Thanks for taking the time to reply. |

This week's box gave up 3 - a 59, 62D and 63D. I think that's the first time I've found more that one and I didn't get a 64!

yeah why are the 64s so plentiful? at least half of my silver dimes are 64s.

they made more in 1964. 929Million of the P's and 1,357Million of the D's
not too many of the previous years really crossed 200million (by much)

$500 in dimes today yielded 2 silver- a 1964D and 1954D
