anyways, I want to do a box so bad but I currently can't afford one. Lol. Luckily my wife just got a job too so pretty soon here we will be raking in the money so I can search again. And then i'll also get to try halves for my first time. yay.

murrellington I want to search so bad to, but I just went back to college and I don't want to have hundreds of dollars worth of coins in my room. I also have to make some bank connections here so I can have a spot to dump.

Was dumping nickels at my bank yesterday, and since my total wound up having an extra 85 cents on the dollar, the teller had to give me some change back.
He was in such a hurry with all the drive-thru customers I guess that he didn't notice the 1927 dime he gave me in change! Unfortunately I think it's been run over by a car a few times and grades poor. :(

Rent is due in a couple days so I need the money. Anyways, being a broke college student is no fun right? All well, the point of college is to get a college degree, so we can make more money in the future, so we can roll search as much as we want in the future as well. lol. |

I did not start searching till the last couple weeks of summer, but I hit it pretty hard. I did 9 boxes of nickels, 3 boxes of dimes, 1 of quarters, 2.5 halfs, 5 cents(pennies). I am going to go home next weekend and can't decided what I want to do. |

Picked up a box yesterday in preparation for the hurricane. Glad I did them early, spent 8 hours lugging 5 gallon buckets of water out of my basement over night.
Anyway, 2 1955 Rosies. A LOT of 2010p.

I have always collected coins but recently I have been going through rolls of dimes on all my free time. It all started when I found a very rare dime error. Since then I have found just a few silvers but and a few coins from other countries. Glad I found this thread though there are alot of really good finds and hopefully more to come. Happy searching!

got 2 boxes this week in hopes that I would find 8 silver dimes. Pretty high yet reachable goal.
box 1:
1 silver dime
1957
box 2
4 silver dimes
1947 (replaced the crummier looking one in my album)
1949 D (HOLE FILLER)
1953 S
1964D
box 2 came through.
I also found about 10 2009 P and D dimes
also grabbed a few 2011 D here in Buffalo NY they are still a little rare

oh yeah the 1949 D makes 15 holes left to fill in my set with every coin coming from circulation
