Is there any news of when they will change the Roosevelt dime to something new? Just wondering because its been going for like 64 years now...

Not that I have read, but it has been discussed a lot in the forums.

It seems odd that every other currently minted and circulating denomination has recently changed (I exclude the half dollar since it is no longer minted for circulation), while the dime just continues on with its same design.

agreed. I personally like collecting dimes the most and I'm actually somewhat glad they haven't changed the design. I've been reading about the national parks program and the new lincoln cents and such, and I think the previous designs were better. They're experimenting way too much in my opinion..

I would not mind if it changed.

When the Jefferson nickel changed in 2004 and the Washington quarter in 1999, I was able to call those collections (1938~2003 and 1932~1998) complete. The albums are full and I have started keeping the others as a new series in another album.

Selfish reason, I know, but I have run out of room in the Roosevelt album and I do not want to expand it!

Roosevelt is a very long running design right now. Certainly due for some type of update - or I'd even think a replacement, redesign entirely.

A couple years ago I bought one of those Liberian made Reagan dimes because of some of the talk of "change". I guess its not gonna happen. Also got one of the Wash,D.C. quarters. I know it was a waste of money, but at least I can get "spot" out of them.
