hollandcoinhouse.com lists the sladkovic piece @ 15.00 euros as a medal. Krause does not list either as coins.

Agreed, probably medals. What does the other side of either piece show?

Actually both Myslbek and Sládkovi#269; were commemorated on CSSR coins in that year (1972), but those coins have different designs. I don't quite understand what the "100" and the "1872-1972" mean. Sure, in the case of Sládkovi#269; that would be the 100th anniversary of his death (he lived from 1820 until 1872), but Myslbek? Born in 1848, died in 1922. Hmm.

Seems that at least the Myslbek coin was designed by Zden#283;k Kolá#345;ský, by the way. Kolá#345;ský is a well-renowned sculptor who also designed various coins from Czechoslovakia. Some more of his medals are here and here for example ...

(Edit) sorry, seems the characters got messed up. But if you follow the links, you can see the names.

There are hot discussions about those among numismatics in Czech Republic.
Basically they are "The Pattern" (A coin submitted to the coin issuing authorities
as a proposed issue but not necessarily one which is adopted.)
They were planed to be sold abroad (see an Italian version)
The number "100" means denomination but not the bank was involved and a whole
project was an officially unofficial suspicious exercise of Communist Party big shots.

Mintage is somewhere between 1000 and 1500 pieces for normal and
500 for PROOF.
Approximate value $60,-

Thanks a lot guys, the last answer report exactly the page I had and I extracted the coins, it was an Italian book w/ 10 Commemorative Czech coins, but it seems 2 100 Koruns has never been released as coins while other 8 yes.
