For a modern coin - this one is really impressive. I've always wanted one and managed to get this one.

The diameter of this official restrike is 40mm (the origonals are 37mm) but that doesn't detract from this at all.

The mirror finishes make it tricky to photograph, but in reality this thing just leaps out at you.

Now that is one nice coin. How does the lion jump out at you? is it holographic?

Hi.
No it's not holographic - it's just really well engraved.

Wow. Just viewed this through the 3D-specs I had left over from watching the film Avatar and it just bit my head off!

It is a beautiful coin. Where did you purchase this one? Perhaps I could buy this coin for my one coin for one country project.

Hi - It was on ebay. As I said earlier, they are restrikes, but they are official restrikes so still a proper coin with the KM number etc. They are a nice hunk of silver.

Thanks. I searched the words "yemon lion" and found out many listings from a seller in India. I don't feel comfortable on this.
