At any rate, this seller is sticking to his guns on $115.00. I told him have a nice day. When he gets more realistic on price he has my email.

My opinion is that I like the one I got for $20.60 uncertified. But if you go for a certified one, just get the MS-69. I really think that the TPGs are taking this MS-70 thing too far and trying to keep their business model going.

Actually, I think it has to do with these clowns with their MS-70 ASE's from last year think thats close enough to a proof, which the mint didn't make, so they believe their MS-70's are worth the price.

I don't see the value of the coin from a year ago.

$50 - $60 maybe, but certainly nothing more.

My offer was $50. He droned on about first strikes are going for more than he's asking and I reminded him his coin is not proof and not a first strike either.

I would pay absolutely NOTHING for a label to say "First Strike" or "Early Strike" anyway.
"Strike Quality" can be had throughout the year.......or with each time they change the dies.....so that has never been something of value to me.....but it sure is pushed by sellers,(i.e. HSN folk and dozens of other "coin pushers")

A term that is widely over-used IMO.
