Looks real. The easiest diagnostic is greater distance between "PLURIBUS," "UNUM" and the buffalo's back than a normal coin, and this looks to have that feature. The first letters of those words pretty much touch the buffalo's back on a regular 1937-D.

Basically here is how it happened:

I was sitting in my room with my girlfriend, we were listening to some funny thing on youtube at night. I saw this coin not quite in the common
date pile so I flipped it over. I saw that it was missing a leg and my eyes basically popped out. I yelled...HOLY (you know what) like a kid
who got his favorite toy on christmas. I know that I'm a bit too old to be acting like that, but it sure was nice to be excited about something
like this for the first time in a long time. Then I showed my dad, and put it in a flip and took some pics.
