Surely that slab adds validity to the product.

This screams scam, but I sent the seller a logical question; Who graded and slabbed this coin?

It's obvious he did or a dealer who he bought it from.

I'm sure that's the case, but it'll be interesting what story he spins on it.

I like the "AU/BU" description, yet the "Slab" has AU-58 written on it, which is clearly not "BU".

Is there any reason why a collector wouldn't put his coins in Coin World slabs and notate his opinion of date and grade upon it? I don't self-slab my coins, but I save that data for each.

It was more than likely holdered by the seller with his opinion of the grade written by him. I also save data of my opinion of grade and any problems, if any, noted.

If it were me, I would not sell it on auction, but as a BIN and list the price, from RedBook for an AU, at $325.00.
