What would this be called? There seems to be something going between the first and fourth columns. The rest of the coin looks normal. Your assistance with my education is greatly appreciated.

Hard to say from the pics. Bays 3 & 4 look like bubbles. Col2 possibly a bubble, I can't really tell, may be the pros could answer or if you put up a better pic.

Definitely something going on there. My guess (and it really is a guess) would lean first towards some sort of gas bubble in the copper plating. It does look kinda like a die clash too, but doesn't seem to be any other indication of that anywhere else on the reverse.

Heavy Die Clash and heavy polishing to try to cover the clash.

You can see the neck and the bottom of the jaw present yet on your coin. The columns have been polished out the the fields and the deep devices are are blending together.
