Got this one in the mail yesterday, cost $33 and still has hints of mint luster. Dealer had it graded as EF, is he correct or is it a slightly higher grade such as AU50? Thanks.

I'm hardly qualified to grade Lincolns, but that one sure looks to be conservatively graded. Whatever final grade assigned, the eye appeal is excellent. There's been an impact of some sort, left-center of the reverse; that may be the reason for a lowered grade.

The dealer undergraded that one....AU53.

I was thinking AU50 so I am on the right track.

You got a really good deal on that one. Nice eye appeal! I'd say AU55

53+ great coin with a strong strike and a earlier die state. I would be happy to have that coin in my collection. Jim

AU-55, could possibly go better if I saw it in-hand; very nice one!

I also would grade it at AU-53.

Yeah appears to be enough luster still present and lack of wear to catapult it into the AU category.
Nice pick up.

I think there's too much wear on LIBERTY, the date, and the wheat ears to be AU.
In a more liberal mood, I'd grade it XF-45..or, put differently, I would not pay an AU price for it.
However, I think you got a pretty good deal for $33.

I have to agree with your dealer on this one. 1910-S cents are usually well struck. The obverse looks to be close to AU, but the reverse has dragged the obverse down a notch. Looks like a corrosion spot under the 1st T in trust. XF-45.
