Hello all,
While roll searching US nickels I came across a 2008 Canadian. There is some sort of bump / raised surface above the T (in cents) on the dots. The same type of thing is going on below the 8 (in 2008) on the dots. Sorry I do not have any pics.

Is this normal? A Cud? Etc. I come across a lot of Canadian nickels but unfortunately, I do not have another 2008 to compare it to.

Thanks
Peace

It sort of sounds a bit like the gas bubbles that appear on some US coins but I don't know if it's something that can happen to Canadian ones.

Need an expert to chime in.

life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved
