First, they are dollars, not dollers. I thought you might have picked up on that after looking at them. Second, if you search the internet, you can find hundreds of price guides. Without seeing your coins and be able to get an idea of grade, there is no way to answer your questions as to value. Try and do a little research. This will get you started: http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml

Only worth face value, $1. High mint state grades will command a premium, but only the very high grades, which your coins most likely are not.

Also I see you used the term "silver dollar", these contain no silver.

wow Scooby, seems a little harsh pointing out the spelling error (and Susan was also spelled wrong but that is another story) and telling them they should have noticed that by looking at the coin and probably making them feel bad for even asking the question. Don't make him/her afraid to ask questions, that is what this community is all about. I think there is a friendlier way of saying what you said.
As others have stated, there are numerous resources to figure out the value of a coin. Like wheatguy said, they are only worth a dollar or two (and they are not made of silver so they don't command a silver premium). If they are in really nice condition then the price does command a bit of a premium (even more so with the proofs and varieties of course). It is a nice short set of coins to collect, but overall they don't seem to be too popular with the general public or the collector.
Finally, welcome to the community.

I'm sorry, I just went back and re-read it and it does sound blunt and rude. I'm sorry.
This community is great and you've come to the right place! I didn't mean to come across that way.

Wait really?! 1982? There were no SBAs minted in 1982. * supposedly *

I can't Coinstar seriously. Mispellings, outrageous claims (such as this, and upside down Washington quarter head). Trolling everyone IMO

He is obviously a new collector, and I'm sure what he's saying is purely out of lack of numismatic knowledge.

Wow, 6 different replies before anyone even mentioned that there is no such thing as a 1982 SBA dollar! Although 1982 was the first thing wrong I noticed, doller was the second. The first is worth mentioning, the second is not. Taking for granted that they came out of circulation, they are most likely not in a condition that will have any additional value. But, in years gone by, I got a number of them from the stamp machine at the post office when they first started using them for change. Mostly 79's, and a few 80's, in as close to BU as they could get after being dumped from a bag and shooting down the slot. I 2x2'd 'em and they sit in almost a full page in a binder. Although they have some additional value beyond a dollar, they only cost me a dollar and I'm only sittintg on a dollar. Actually about 20 of them, but who's counting? They are still an interesting piece of American Coinage History. You have, at least, 6 bucks. On the other hand, take them to the Quickie Mart and buy some bubble gum and have fun watching Apu try to figure out what the heck you just handed him! FWIW Steve
