Anything going on with his eyelid or eye area? Nothing listed at coppercoins.

Scooby, if your asking about the small chip in front the eye, it's normal on every well struck coin. If you see something else, tell us.

I'm mainly looking at the top of the eyelid. There seems to be an extra and when I turn it just right there looks like 3 "ribs" to the eyelid.

Aha, I see now, not sure if that is part of the design or not.

Probably just wishful thinking on my part (again), but it looks different from the other '09 VDB I have.

SD: I would post the images on coppercoins.com and see if they would like to take a closer look. It looks minor and questionable. Bob would probably like to see this one. Because of the year, it might be a NEED see.

Eyelids can be un-questionable or questionable. Some are obvious:
Doubled-Eyelid?
Some are doubtfull:

I found one interesting one:

The first image show what I think you are showing best. The other images just confirmed what area you were looking at. So I'm still questioning what may be there. If it were a doubled eyelid it might be a new find. But if it isn't it's just a nice coin. So a hand on view would probably be the best thing at this time.

Your coin is normal. This is the way all 1909 cents appear to some degree.
