I found this in a roll I opened last year and have kept it in an airtight from that day. 2 questions here, what is the cause of this and second, is it worth holding on to. (is there an interest in these kind of struck through coins) I am guessing it was a glob of grease that caused it. Looks like he got a bat to his head

It looks like a struck through error. What? I'm not sure. Something prevented the full striking in that area of the head.
