Hey guys! I need ALL the help I can get! Like Johnny said, this is a HUGE purchase for me, and I want to buy a very nice example of a Good-4 1916D Mercury dime. Johnny got me thinking about weak reverse rims on the 1916D. I myself have noticed this. Can all of you guys who own a 1916D Mercury dime give me pics of yours? This would be of great help, as I do not have a lot of time running around to a bunch of dealers. Please help! - coincrazed

Here is my PCGS Good-4. I purchased this one at a show because based on what I saw it had better than average rims and it has some toning on the top of Liberty's cap.

At G-4 you will have some reverse weakness in the rim. It just depends on how much.If you find a G-4 with complete rims jump on it!

BTW I paid $900.

Here is my old NGC AG-03 example. It is quite strong for an AG-03 imo, and I have seen worse in 04 slabs. Anyways, I sold it a while back, and am also in the market for a G-04+ replacement, though it's been a while since I've seen one I liked at the right price.
