WHEW.. just got done sorting through a giant bag of mixed morgan and Peace dollars. This is the only key date one I found and I was wondering if this was considered to be worth anything? Pretty great condition considering it was found in a buried jar.
Since you are all most likely more experienced in the grading/pricing of this type of coin, I'll ask you for your opinion (:

The 1928 (Philly) Peace dollar is the key date but the 1928-S is a better date.

From the pics all I can say is the coin looks AU which places it's value around $40. If it's MS the value rises dramatically.

It does appear to be a very nice coin for being at the bottom of a jar!

I would agree with "bherring1964" The 1928 S is more a semi Key, what I find most neat is that if you had both in a MS-65 grade the 1928 S is worth more then the (P)
