All this recent outburst of Standing Liberty quarter frenzy made me look back at my collection of these beauties. A lot of the post 1924 ones were kind of ratty so I'm trying to upgrade them. Here's a couple for review and grade, if you will:

1. EF-45
2. EF-40

It may be due to the lighting but both look to have been cleaned.

I agree - both look to have been cleaned - and if they came from consignmenthub - they were. Not harshly, but there do appear to be some swirls. Could just be the lighting though I suppose. I really like the detail in the 1st one.

I agree with wheatguy, though I could see the 28 possibly making a 50. I also agree that they both have likely been cleaned or overdipped. Excellent details!

I agree with the EF45 and EF40 grades. I also agree these coins appear to have been dipped/cleaned.

(They do look good in the album though!)

I bet they do - and they'd be upgrades over a couple that I have for sure!
