Is this forum on Facebook? It would be cool to have a Facebook fan page where we could all see what each other is like.

Not that I am aware of.
Even if there was, I probably would not join it since I would not want people on Facebook know that I am a coin collector.

WAY too busy for me. My sister sent me an email via facebook, I filled something out so I could read it, and BAMM! I had messages from dozens of people from college in the 70's! Still I get them, maybe I'm messed up, but I really don't care what's happening with them. This is about as close as I care to get.

Facebook! I was invited to share, and accepted. I found several very close friends, (from Mexico) there, and also my sister, ans her daughter. All this was very pleasant to see. Then came the deluge of emails, and obscenr invitations. So, my point is: BE VERY CAREFUL! IO have deleted any reference in my emails, to that name, and it is in caps, in the SPAM folder, along with the specifically blocked words, and/or terms. The idea is nice, but the side effects are horrible. The emails came with a full brochure of pictures, in all foems. Now you know. On thos forum, yes I would like to share pictures, etc, because we are dedicated to something serious, and legal, entertaining, and educational. KIDS welcome! Thanks for the "editing"! I was not sure if it was allowed to use the term, but I did, to be sure there was no mistaking what I meant! thanks again. Dick

these pictures speak for themselves; the second, the the Great-great-grandson "Teevie-teevie II". the second, "Thelivingdinasaur", and his male heirs: Enjoy! Later: I thought these pictures were on the other thread, but not so. If the moderator would be so kind, I would appreciate it. Thank you very much! Dick

Those are some great pics, livingdinasaur! And, thanks for putting them on here, and not (you know where)! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Quote: I would not want people on Facebook know that I am a coin collector. Sorry if you thought it was a bad idea. Bobby created the page so I joined it. I don't put any personal info on facebook so I will be safer. I know it is not perfect, but I have joined other coin sites on facebook and so far so good. :) But I respect your opinions.

I haven't read it, yet, but it speaks for itself: http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/c...w|dl8|link3|http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/c...ok/19473822/As dar as "facebook" is concerned, I have no idea where it came from, and didn't have any idea as to what the consequences might be. I thought it was a nice idea, and recommended several friends. The the deluge began, and that is when I 'pulled the plug" I doubt that Bobby, had any intentions of what has happened, and if so, most likely would have discarded the idea. The original thought was good, and like many others , joined. No blame cast, no offence meant. I just go by what I experienced, and made my recommendations, accordingly. Dick
