I was searching ebay for air-tites which I use for most of my higher end coins and saw a listing for "Tube-Tites"....tubes designed to fit various sizes of air-tites. I've been looking for a a better way to store my towers of air-tites...thought others may be interested.

I would be a little concerned about these things. The tooling at the machine shop where I work comes in containers exactly like these and they smell really bad, chemically speaking. The red ends should be very soft which is a sign of PVC. They do look nice but I would advise to approach these with caution. Check the AIr-tite web sight and see if they sell something similar.

How long before someone comes up with a box to hold several of these tubes.

And then a larger box for those boxes.

And then maybe a footlocker type thing for those boxes..............

Sure. I like mine but did have one issue. I ordered a combo to store ASE or similar size bullion. It included a U.S. Mint ASE tube and one of these special Air-Tite tubes.

The included Air-Tite tube was not the big 2" diameter size needed for ASE, it was 1 3/4" which is fine for silver dollars. I re-checked the auction and 1 3/4" was noted and since I had 20 Air-Tites that size, I didn't complain or send it back because it was $5 total delivered.

These are nice, heavy duty tubes. I would be careful when ordering but would recommend them to someone with dozens of Air-Tites floating around.
