I took a chance and bought the tray!
Now I'm Antique dealer and buy and sell Silver
but I have never bought coins

Now I just don't know what is best... I want to be smart and make the most of my money.. thus why I'm here.
Please tell me what to do and where to go..what is the best thing to do with these coins.. Most of all I hope I make my money back!
I thank you in advance..

Hello, Lili, and welcome. At this volume and the price I'd be worried about the authenticity of the coins. You do need to post some detailed pics and give us the measurements. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. First of all, you need to sort them out by dates/years, mint marks, denominations. Second, go get a Mexican coin catalog or a world coin book (doesn't have to be new, if you just need to know the silver content); or you can search online for Mexican coin catalog that will show you the silver content of each coin and probably the selling/asking price for each coin. Third, you will need to learn and be able to grade each coins correctly (unless you want to sell them by silver spot price). Lastly, try to sell them to the right market/buyers ( ebay is one of the market, but make sure you consider their fees). The above are just a generic solutions - wait for others' inputs.

If they are really silver then you've probably done ok. If you are having trouble posting images here maybe you could upload them to a Photobucket account (or any other image hosting service) and provide a link here.
By the way, silver is around $19 per ounce now.

I do believe you've been had. All of these are quite questionable. Have you held a magnet up to any of these because I seriously doubt there's any silver content in them.

So if a magnet sticks to them they are not real right?

Quote: So if a magnet sticks to them they are not real right? One test of many but these look quite fake to me. When buying Any coins always be extremely familiar with the real thing so that a fake will always stand out.

Right, if the magnet attracts a coin,it's not Ag. IF the coins are legitimate, some of the ones you posted would be worth at least a $1, actually more than that, I'd be asking myself why someone would be selling them for only a $1 a piece

Just Remember If It Sounds Smells Looks too good to be True It Usually Is. Its A Shame People Try To Take Advantage Of People But Counterfeit Coins Are Popping Up At an Alarming Rate As Silver Prices Rise We All Need To Be On Guard !

Unfortunately because they are Mexican coins I don't think any US laws were broken. If those were counterfeits of US coins you might be able to scare the seller into giving you a refund by threatening to contact the secret service.
