Actually...if you consider theat the park and shop token are from My hometown, and are also still in use. If I were to actually use them, I could consider the lot costing me 4.25 The best part of making these deals is when I say what do you want for the entire box...it takes them way off guard.

Yes, always an excellent strategy to ask for a whole-box price. They'll often try to add up each item, one-by-one, until you can actually almost see the number pouring out of their ears, and then they'll shoot you an arbitrary price. The key is to have a number in YOUR head before you pop the question and then do your Jedi mind trick thing so that THEIR number is lower.

I always do have a top number I woulkd be willing to pay. In this case, He was actually under that price by at least 5.00 Sometimes the curve is hit back though...I ask for a price to buy the lot and there is no off balance reaction but a price thrown straight back. Last year I bought out an entire table of trains from a guy by asking what he wanted for all of it...so far I have doubled my money, and I still have over half of it left. In theory, the strategy work very well.

Nice 'Love Token'. I have one in my collection and I like the reverse better than the obverse. The obverse is close to AU. They all have such unique designs on the reverse.

Nice pick up $15. How unusual to find a horses rear end featured on this forum. I usually come across mine in the local bars!
