I purchased this album around the year 2000. The last page runs through 2001 with two more blank rows. I'm wondering how to update the album to include all of the later Lincolns. It doesn't look like there is a lot of room for more pages. I think I could fit maybe 1 more page. Thoughts?

Depending on the binder size, the additional pages may or may not fit and you will need to by a new one. I bought my Lincoln album in the late 1980's and it can only hold seven pages, while the newest version of the album holds nine.

I have the newest Dansco Lincoln with Proofs.....and have been filling it like a madman with buying old Uncirc. Sets, Proof Sets, etc. I think mine goes to 2012 or so...(I forget)...and it's the thickest Dansco I have ! I have not "transferred" any Lincolns from my old album......I'm only wanting premium conditioned Lincolns in there ! Which is quite do-able from Sets with the Memorials anyway.

It sure -would have been nice if Dansco listed there 8100 as "8100-A", "8100-B" to indicate to the buyer the thickness of the album. It looks like my 8100 would fit one more bringing the total to 8 pages. I don't think I can fit 9 in this album.

Fairly decent prices on those. Whitman extra pages usually cost a little more and are not as well made. Yet the Whitman Album holds 10 pages but really tight. Not sure why Dansco, Whitman, Littleton, etc all don't just make Albums that are expandable.

Are you able to replace the last two pages with the ones in the links I provided?

When I bought my album it had six pages, with room for a seventh (which I added later). Had I bought it with room for three pages, I would have been annoyed by the slack space. I know now that the Lincoln Cent will probably be around until the denomination ceases, but I had every reason to believe back then that there could be a design change in my lifetime. I honestly thought I would only need the one extra page! Quote: Not sure why Dansco, Whitman, Littleton, etc all don't just make Albums that are expandable. Infinitely expandable? Like I said, I had room for one page when I got my Lincoln Cent album. My Jeffereson Nickel and Roosevelt dime albums were the same as well, room for one more page. My Eisenhower dollar album has no room! Well, it is a complete series, so why make it expandable? Quote: Are you able to replace the last two pages with the ones in the links I provided? Yes. The posts have screws in them. Just removed the screws, remove the offending pages, insert the replacements.

As my Lincoln album fills up, I've been considering doing separate albums for LWC, LMC, and LSC. With the 2009 cents being the end of the LMC. Thoughts?

I say that is a good idea. I have already decided that the 2009 and 2010+ cents will probably get their own album, but I have not bought one yet. There is good reason to believe that the shield cents won't get a five year run, let alone fifty.

Dansco has already made this decision for me with my new Lincoln album.....like I mentioned before it is marked with dates up until 2016 S.(I just checked to confirm what date it is for sure) And it has blanks in there for well after that too ! So, my Dansco will have the LWC, LMC, the '09's (including Proofs), and the new Shield Cents..... ALL of these will be in my Dansco ! ..... Dansco has marked all of the different LP1, LP2, LP3, and LP4's in there ! (P's, D's, and Proofs of each one...it's totally inclusive for 2009)Other albums and folders of mine will have them separately.....but this one will have them all ! .... So.....the " new" Dansco Lincoln albums make the choice " for" everyone on what to do and where or if to separate them ! Only those with the older albums will have that discretion. And I'll happily keep my older ones seperate like that too probably.

Kind of unfortunate. I saw jokingjoker's post above and I bought those two pages from ebay people. Then I googled dansco pages and found a place called the dansco album store and they sell all of the pages for just $4.99 each. Oh well. Live and learn.

I'm pretty sure that with shipping you break even between Vernon and The Dansco Album Store.
