Today one of the tellers had a pack (100 notes with strap on) of Minneapolis Fed and I took it to take 5 notes out. Now that I research it, MN fed printed the lowest number of the new design (38.4 Mil notes) per usapapermoney. I also looked at the BEP reports as of March 2010 and it does not look like they have printed any more nor will they print more (just my spec as they are rolling over to the 2009 series)

The question for you folks collecting the entire series - All the blocks and combos etc

Would this have a premium down the road? The run prior to this also the MN's run (last of the old notes) seems to be getting hits on the bay (not much more of a premium) as it's being sold as the rarest / lowest run. OR is the prior run being sold cos it's print run was smaller in total and older design? Thanks

The SN's - II 17828101 A to 200 A (I9 on left, printed in FW) this was also in the first print for the colorized (Two runs of 19.4 mil notes each).

Wd - if you read this please take a look at my question about my Canadian notes on the Int'l side. Thanks

Pardon me for the long post.

Peace

Do the ones on ebay have bids on them or high starting prices? haha I don't know, but I don't really collect by serial number runs (I guess it's hard to track down for foreign notes).

wd, this is the only one I could find this morning on ebay. This person does explain the scarcity aspect of the Minneapolis run (Previous Run). It is only when you go looking specifically for a particular note that you are going to find about this. I cannot even locate a MN colorized $5 note. The colorized could be a sleeper or not. I just do not know.

Slightly off topic, but I have bought from Harvey's Money Store before and he's a good seller.

(No, I get nothing from Harvey for saying that!)
