This coin looks to have seen a few vending machines.
Seems to me that the MM is either re punched or it is doubled.
IN GOD WE TRUST has a lot going on - looks like a lot of PMD but also I see extra thickness (does happen with PMD) and what appears to be extra vertical and horizontal lines. The more I look at it the more I think it is doubbled with a lot of PMD.

Please help diagnose

Looks like this coin has seen a lot of circulation. The die wear is also evident as well as some Machine Doubling. Worth what it says on the back. Keep looking, they are out there.

I think that there is some Machine Doubling as well. But I think the majority of stuff going on is from circulation - just my 2cents

The motto is effected by wear and severe Die Deterioration. The mint mark might be something but I can't tell from this image.

Thanks,
Bill

I can see, now, the Die Deterioration on the motto - with so much damage to the coin, it was hard for me to tell. There is light MD on the rev. but not much.

I need to get a better picture of the MM - the coin is in junk condition but would still be interested if it is re punched - I will start a new thread on the MM when I find time to go back over that coin and only if I think it needs further discussion. As far as I am concerned, I got my answers and this thread is closed.

Thanks for the input

Peace
Brent
