This is a 72 Kennedy. On the obverse, there is a halo type rise around the portrait and the ear is mashed. On the reverse, the eagle looks blobbed, if that makes sense. I know it's not post mint as it came from an uncirculated roll.Any ideas from the Kennedy experts?
Funny how this happens in certain years and seems not to happen on other years. On Kennedy half dollars I see it much more frequently in the early 1970s, then again in the early 1980s. It rarely affects 1964-1969 coins.
