For some reason the link doesn't work. I just searched "PCGS 1836 PR64" and found a supreme Gobrecht dollar for the low, low price of 115K! That has to be the coin that has you dreamin'! LOL! Whew...yes it is a beaut!

I am getting an error with the link as well. It has to do with how the forum handles ebay links. Looking into it... But as for the coin... Wow! A dream that would be. Actually it is well beyond a dream for me, but I would not complain if someone bought me that for my birthday.

Beautiful coin - I've always like the design of the Gobrecht dollar - But you would have to pay an arm and a leg for one!

Very cool coin! Lemme dig into my penny jar..... When the link came up the first thing I saw was the price and I said "Must be a Gobrecht dollar", and sure enough! A Brasher Doubloon would have been awesome too, that's MY dream coin! Steve

OMG - wow. What an absolutely fantastic and beautiful piece of American history!
I'd love to find one of those in a cookie jar at a yard sale.

Incredible coin, IF I could afford to buy something like that, it probably wouldn't be off of ebay, but if the price was right, what would you think? the person that bought that, would they crack it open to verify it authenic?

at least this ones in a reputable slab instead of raw like most of his coins that make me wonder what is wrong with them to not be in a reputable slab because either they take some amazing pictures or they have some amazing coins for sale all the time and at least 90% of them are raw. I guess if you consistently get slabbed prices for raw coins then there is no reason to send them in for certification

I think that I would have to insist on armored car for delivery! I just can't imagine letting the USPS deliver that coin. On the other hand delivery is free.
