Thanks guys.
David, actually that wasn't the reason I sold it. I had the 1874 just as a coin I bought because I liked it awhile ago. This new coin isn't for my type set either, I just looked on heritage and saw very few high end examples, so I figured it was quite scarce and wanted to pick it up for that reason (might trade or sell it in the future, though). A PCGS AU-58 went for $1250. I believe some of these better date
Seated coins are scarcer in higher grades than the price guides indicate.
" Looks like a very strong 61 for a good price. Any ideas as to why it's "not" graded higher?
P.S. The No Motto reverses look better to my eyes than with Motto on this series."
Theres a good chance that if its really clean for a 61, its a market graded slider. And I agree about the motto. But, we'll see. I sure hope it's undergraded, that would be even better.
