Very poor and possibly dangerous; in fact, I recommend you send it immediately to me for safe disposal.

All seriousness aside, tough call. Maybe AU55-58, maybe a strong MS63. SLQ's are very hard to differentiate due to strike quality. Is that doubling I see in "IN GOD?"

Beautiful coin. I'd be proud to see it in my collection.

At first glance I was gonna say AU55-58 like SuperDave said but those wear marks on the head and shield at 8:00 on the obverse could be from a weak strike. There appears to be a decent amount of luster. I dunno. If you don't feel like sending it to SuperDave I will gladly take it off your hands.

Nice coin, I would like to be 3rd in line if you decide to send her on her merry way.

Because of strike issues, you'll find *very* few that have full shield detail at 7-8 o'clock.

Gonna say AU58 because of possible wear just above and below the knee. If that is not a rub, then MS64.

Thanks for the comments. I'm sorry to disappoint, but I think I'm going to keep it:) I have a hard time determining whether a coin is a high AU coin or MS, but I think I see a bit of wear on the knee so I am grading it at AU58.

I do have concerns with the dark spots on the reverse. Could those be signs that the coin was dipped in the past?

I see a bit of wear and the luster is slightly muted IMO, due to slight wear. The head is fairly well detailed but not FH of course.

Looks solid for AU-55. I wouldn't worry about the dark spots; they just look like patchy original toning to me. Nice AU!

Right leg has wear from the top of hip almost to the foot. AU55 and a nice looking coin with original surfaces.
Great eye-appeal to say the least!

Light rub here and there, but a nice luster too. AU55 - and a nice coin. I've seen copies in this condition sell above book regularly online.
Rest in Peace
