For me to get a few of my VAMs certified. I'm going to send the following off to ANACs within the week. I listed my guess for grade so you can poke me if I'm way out in left field.

EDIT: First of two orders are on their way back. The second order will be posted later this afternoon. ANACS grades in RED
Second edit ... now things got ugly! Results in blue

Good luck with the grading! ANACS is the only TPG I have ever used and I have always been pleased with their service and agreed with their grades.

Even if they come back 10 points below what you expect (with details), those are some awesome coins.

Wow is right SeatedNut nice group I am sure John will have fun looking over them. I just sent in 44 coins just under the wire on there special. I hope my coins get to him before yours as we will wear him out!

On the Vam-9's if you wish to trade one I do need one for my set!

1) 1797 penny

19) 1878's
1) 1893 S
1) 1995 S
and a many of others I started thinking send 20 and it went up to 77 and then I finally brought it down to 44 and my wife was still not happy :)!

I made it real easy for him. He just has to verify the VAM, no research. John has already seen photos of some of the over on VAMWorld and commented.

The two from this group that I hope will holder in the grade I indicated are the 78-S VAM 59 (long nock) and the 80-O VAM 49 in MS61. Population reports for these two are low. I just have access to the PCGS pop report and the highest grade for a VAM 59 is AU53 (total 13) and MS63 for the VAM 49 there are 2 in MS 63, one in 62 and one in 60 (total 4 in UNC). The long nock had what I thought were polishing lines from an old cleaning, but when I put it under the microscope, the lines are raised (die polishing).

ANACS has 30 VAM-59's graded, Top Pop being two in AU55. At this point, frankly, they're the only place I'd send a VAM for grading.

JR doesn't grade VAMs Russ. I'm happy for you Dave. That 14.6 and the 32 must be awesome in hand. I rather think that ANACS may be the harshest of the TPGs with the orange labels. Blue and small holders seemed to be far more liberal and lenient.
