The one posted at the beginning of this thread is far more scarce than the big one for the year and should command just about as much premium value. Very nice find!

Great find, Chuck!

Just curious, did you see this with a hand magnifier and if so, what power is it? I have looked at tons of 1983s and nada. I am wondering if I need to look at them under the scope. I am afflicted with "OFE", old farts eyes.

I spotted this with the 5X magnifier.

I check all coins with a 5x Bausch & Lomb slide out magnifier.

For real close-up, I'll then go to my dual 10x/20X hand held magnifier.

Also- I'll photo the coin with my Sony digital and look at the pics on the computer for a much closer look especially when looking at RPM'S etc.
