This must be common just found a 83 with the opposite side with a crack

Die cracks are very common on Memorial cent reverses. They are not errors - they are a normal part of die wear and tear.

The cornices and stair bases are points of inherent weakness in the reverse die, you will see those cracks repeatedly through the years of LMC mintage. I have even seen a few with cracks at all for corners.

Here is one coin with two die cracks just wating to meet together in the center of the die.

At Coop what scope are you using ? I would like to get one myself instead of straining my eyes to see the errors
I am looking for something I can use with the computer to view them

Here is an image of the setup I use. Including the lighting. The camera I use on the right eye piece. I adjust the right eye piece to the best image and shoot down it.
