This one was easy with my 2008 Krause at hand.

KM-766 Spain Nationalist Government 10 Centimos. 22.5 mm diameter aluminum coin with reeded edge (now well worn). 1945 mintage of 250,000,000. Shown on Page 1907 of the 2008 edition.

Worthless as a collectible in this condition ..... but still having a blast going through my childhood coin bag and learning about these great world coins!

Any insights to add on this one?

I have an example of each year for that type. None of them in much better condition than yours but I still include them in my collection.

I know the feeling. I still have the coins from my childhood collection. Nothing is very valuable, but they all hold high sentimental value to me. My grandfather was the person who started my collecting and I wouldn't trade any of those coins for their equivalent in BU condition. Thanks for sharing.

I have been interested in finding a coin that has a horse on it - this is because my wife loves horses.

Nice coin. I will be looking to obtain a sample - I think I will open my 2010 World Coins catalog tonight to look at the information on this coin and look for others that may have a horse.

Just shows I get attracted to all different kinds of coins for all different kinds of reasons. This is what keeps coin collecting fresh and interesting to me on a continual basis.
